Terms of Service: Returns, Exchanges & Fulfillment Policy
Life As JL
1. Print-On-Demand Fulfillment Model
All merchandise offered by Life As JL is fulfilled using a print-on-demand (POD) production process. Every item is made specifically for you once an order is placed. Due to the customized nature of these products, our return and exchange policy differs from standard retail practices.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the fulfillment, return, and refund policies outlined below.
2. Return & Exchange Policy
Because all products are custom-made, Life As JL does not accept returns or exchanges under the following circumstances:
Non-Refundable Scenarios:

The customer selected the wrong size, color, or product variant at checkout.

The customer changed their mind after the order was placed (buyer’s remorse).
-
The customer received the correct item but desires a different variation.
-
The order was returned due to an invalid or incomplete shipping address. (In these cases, a refund will be issued for the product cost only. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Reprints may be requested at an additional charge.)
3. Accepted Claims for Replacement or Refund
Life As JL will provide a free reprint or full refund in the following valid cases:
Eligible Scenarios:

The product arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect.

The wrong item, size, color, or design is delivered.
-
The item is lost in transit or arrives damaged due to shipping mishandling.
4. How to File a Claim
To request a refund or replacement, please follow these steps:

Submit your claim within:

30 days of delivery for U.S. orders

45 days of delivery for international orders

Contact Life As JL via our support page or by email.

Provide the following information:

Your order number
-
A description of the issue

Clear photo or video evidence showing the problem

No return is required for damaged or incorrect items.
We may request additional documentation if necessary to confirm your claim.
5. Refund Methods
Refunds will be processed in the following ways:

By default, refunds are issued to your Life As JL account balance (if applicable).

You may request that the refund be applied to your original payment method.

If your purchase was made in a non-USD currency, your refund will be sent directly to the original payment source (e.g., credit/debit card or PayPal).
6. Important Notes & Limitations

Life As JL does not issue refunds or reprints due to poor-quality, low-resolution, or incorrectly formatted artwork provided by the customer.

Small variations in print placement (within 1 inch) are standard for POD products and are not considered defects.

Design mistakes such as typos, alignment errors, or incorrect image placement caused by customer-submitted files are the customer’s responsibility.
7. Right to Refuse Refunds or Reprints
Life As JL reserves the right to deny refund or reprint requests if:

The issue is due to customer error or misuse.

The claim is found to be false, misleading, or fraudulent.

The submitted artwork violates file formatting or content guidelines.
